IPL 2022: Big blow to Sunrisers Hyderabad, Washington Sundar injured

Washington Sundar who is part of Sunrisers Hyderabad team in IPL 2022. Sundar was playing against Gujarat Titans when he got a short in his hand due to which he could be out in 2 to 3 matches.

The 22-year-old Sundar is the only successful spinner bowler in the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Sundar has taken 4 wickets for 63 runs in total 11 overs in IPL 2022. Out of these, 3 wickets have been taken against Rajasthan and one wicket has been taken against Gujarat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Hawale has said that Washington has suffered a hand injury. He said, “We should monitor it in the next two-three days. Hopefully it is not a significant setback. I think it is okay.” It will probably take a week or two for that to happen.” Sunrisers Hyderabad may have to face tough problems due to Sundar’s absence in the team.

However, Sunrisers Hyderabad have leg-spinners Shreyas Gopal and J Suchit, a left-arm spinning all-rounder, are the two possible options who can bowl leg-spin.
